1 Introductions, apologies and substitutions
1.1 The Chair welcomed the Members to the meeting.
1.2 Apologies were received from Rhianon Passmore MS.
2 COVID-19 and its impact on matters relating to the Public Accounts Committee’s remit: Evidence session with the Welsh Government on health issues
2.1 The Committee held an evidence session with the Welsh Government on COVID-19 and its impact on health issues.
2.2 The Chair agreed to write to Judith Paget, Director General Health/NHS Chief Executive with questions not reached in the session and issues raised by Members in the private consideration of the evidence received.
3 Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the meeting for the following business:
3.1 The motion was agreed.
4 Barriers to the successful Implementation of the Well-Being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015: Consideration of responses to Reports
4.1 The Committee considered and discussed the responses to all the previous Committee’s Report together with the Welsh Government responses to the Auditor General for Wales and Future Generations Commissioner Reports, which were published in May 2020.
4.2 Members also discussed the ‘accept in principle’ issue regarding Committee recommendations.
4.3 Members noted the plenary debate scheduled for 24 November on the implementation of the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.
